Tonight I really realized how happy I am.
My cousin invited us to the bar he manages after the Bernie rally. There was a really cool band playing, just a handful of people there.
I normally would be fucking out of my mind scared to even approach a bar.
I had such a good time, we ordered pizza, I watched Tony play like 7 rounds of pool. He looked so relaxed and had his dress shirt some of the way unbuttoned, messy hair. He was just having a blast and smiling and being goofy. I couldn’t keep my eyes off of him. I love him so much. He radiates this warm inviting vibe and he would make sure to come hug and kiss me every time that it wasn’t his turn. I feel so safe with him. I’m so at home, so comfortable. I’m so happy to have him. He’s really brought me out of a dark place and allowed me to be myself and live not in fear, but at peace. I never have to worry about him hurting me. I can just.. Exist.. I can be happy and be me and know he’s gonna be there. It’s so wonderful. I never in a million years thought I would be so happy with life but I’ve got everything I want plus more. God is good, he put Tony in my life and goodness. I’m glad he’s my person.
